Rad Mobile [System 32] by SEGA

Rad Mobile (ラッドモビール) has always had some compatibility issues with MAME. Most people play it with a mouse to get around this. Instead of going that route, I chose to fiddle with the game settings until getting them to a point where using a controller became a viable option. While in no way an ideal solution, it has, in this instance, worked well enough to allow me to finish in first on only two credits.
If you'd like to do the same, access the service menu while running the ROM and make these changes to the analog controls:
Paddle Digital Speed: 15 (+5)
Paddle Autocenter Speed: 100 (+90)
Paddle Reverse: Off

At 2:33 the rain falls and the windshield wipers start up. Still remember being amazed, when this arcade game first was released, by the level of detail with the Sonic Keychain and interior dash view of this rarely seen Sega Arcade racer.

Actually that statement is actually a common misconception. The first ever game the blue blur appeared in was a game that was called "The Adventures of Quik and Silva". The game is extremely rare because it used many licensed characters without the character creators consent like they used Mario, Megaman, and of course Sonic. The company got sued and the game was removed off store shelves and is extremely rare nowadays

Ben Estabrook I first played it around 1994. My local YMCA had a standup cabinet. Still my favorite racing game to this day.

Unfortunately, the +90 auto-center make these settings more like digital input. I hope to one day find a better way to approximate the car's handling, but until then, at least the game is playable.

This is my favorite early 90s arcade game, I love music, car sprites, car microwave sound, opponent car fart noises, and the fat policeman. (The audio is littlebit off)

remember this game being on the movie i rented from my locak vhs rental store, california man with a very young brendan fraser,in fact im sure it was his first ever big movie that got his career off the ground,great movie but back to the game,only ever played it once.

Gamevet I think so, but I don't know if anyone's found a good way to configure it for one yet. There weren't any instructions on how to configure it for a gamepad either. I had to fool around with that myself.

First try grabbing the latest version of the ROM from someplace like EmuParadise. I have no idea why, but the ROM sets are always revised with each new version of MAME. If you're using an old ROM with the latest version, that might be your issue. If that doesn't work, try grabbing an older version of MAME to play this on. MAME 0.148 is what I used in this video. Hopefully one of those two solutions will work for you. :)

Sega is such a failure company now..So many great IP, they can't even port this game to mobile.

Saturn Memories Especially System 24/32 which was unknown to alot of people...they can make money...Add Moga Pro Support and send it to iOS/Android..Its not hard..
