main reason for accidents is lack of traffic rules, u pay 2000 and ur license is ready despite anyone knowing that u dun know how to drive this is the main reason... i bet if govt. starts making driving license with strict guidelines 50% of india wont get pass through those tests....

I lost my best friend in a road accident in 2015. It was nighttime; the road was dug up, not even a single street light was on. He must've tried to avoid the pit but missed it and crashed into the divider. He was lying there unconscious for at least 20 minutes after which he was found by some passersby and rushed to the nearest hospital where he was declared dead. His mother was shattered and has still not recovered from the loss. It still aches me to date that I will never see his face or hear his laugh ever again. Sadly, a lot of accidents have taken place in that same stretch of road ever since it has been dug up. Who is to blame for these murderous roads?

Most of the highways that I have been on & driving at night, I have noticed that there are no road lights. Only light is that of the moving vehicles. Most drivers are in a mighty hurry on the road to hell, and 90% don't know how to use the highbeam lights, as a result the oncoming driver is blinded.

Very true....I wish vehicles were traffic friendly because there are many women children old people and physically challenged people like hearing impaired cannot hear from behind when they walk or drive kindly don't drive fast behind them.... myself have experienced twice because coming in speed from wrong side when I tried to cross the road...I wish people were slow speed friendly so we can comfortably cross the road....

Its very difficult to get driving licence in United kingdom Great Britian coz of strict face to face online theory test and practical driving test to make sure the person is completely and legally knows and follows the rules signs and regulations of roads laws. Amir sir i think such procedures should be started in india as well. Main thing is yeh illegal driving licence banana stop karna chahiye aur UK ka rules india main labu hona chahiye.

The same thing happens in spain. Laws are vry strict. One has to gv theory exam n take practical classes n appear for exam only then u get license... N maintennance of vehicles is also obligatory. Lets hope tat in future india gets more strict with it.

truly amazing how EVERYONE tries to pass the proverbial buck. The only one I would sympathise with and would have no true power is the truck drivers themselves. This appears to be a problem all over the world, incentivising the meeting of ridiculous deadlines. It is hard to address this problem in India when highly litigious and unionised countries have struggled to curb the problem of this overworking. In saying that the responsibility of regulating and punishing those who do not follow the laws is the responsibility of the government. If a person is given an easy way out, 99% of them would take that option. Why would one go through the extra hassle when everyone else is bypassing the system. It is upto the system to come good and set an example.
