Thanks for pointing out the features of a saucier pan. I've used my Saladmaster cookware for 46 years. They have a lifetime warranty and gave me a new pan when the handle came off of my over 40 year old skillet.

I love the good information you provide, It really helps us old country cooks to know exactly what we are doing when we go to the high end cookware stores, I guess im strange but i dont like the handles on All Clad to me they are uncomfortable to handle. I use 5 ply stainless steel waterless cookware made by Towne Craft, ive bought it at estate sales, no way could i afford a new set nowdays.

Thanks, Hans! I really appreciate it! The videos are a fun hobby for us. Are they still making the Towne Craft cookware?

That pasta dish looks great! I want to try this recipe. If I buy any other pans, I will stick with Vita Craft.

The 5-quart saucier appears to be the result of a saute pan and a wok having a child. LOL
