I couldn’t believe his voice the first time I heard them. Amazing! Check out their song Break My Baby (official lyric version) . It has a similar vibe, but a little funkier and dirtier feel. Another fantastic song.

Glad you liked it, Nick. Accidentally found them a few years ago, thinking a Kaleo concert was going to be Hawaiian music. Kaleo loosely translates to “sound” in Hawaiian. I love how his low, gravely voice flips into that falsetto-y head voice on a dime.

Thanks man! Cause they are a band from Ice Land❤. It is cold and volcanic, like Hot springs, lava etc. They have a video filmed on permanent ice. On a "little" Titanic iceberg😂❤. It is a great country, absolutely beautiful❤And the people are "bad shit crazy" 😂In a good way. Yes they sound like that. Been In Couple concerts also In Iceland. Regards from Finland❤

Yes, that is his voice period. Every song is different. He is one talented artist. Check out the one on the glacier. I believe they moved to Tennessee yrs ago to be more in the hub of the music industry. I know it's not as cold in Tennessee. Lol

They're actually all over the map in terms of genres, but they sound absolutely amazing no matter what they do. There's Backbone, filmed live in an ice cave kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKeYg6iunad4p80, and Break My Baby kzbin.info/www/bejne/r2nUZa2Gn72XZq8 performed atop a gigantic rock in the middle of the sea, as good examples. They've even filmed one song at the site of an actual erupting volcano, called Skinny. I hope you'll consider covering one of these next -- or actually ANYTHING by them, bc there's so much more to choose from that's excellent, both live and studio versions... BTW loved your very dynamic reaction!!

Yep, they're Icelandic so they have an available volcano in the neighborhood. Interesting, if nothing else. Headaches? What have you been eating? MSG (Mono-sodium-agglutinate) gives me headaches and it's in a lot of prepared foods. Most of their work does not have this vibe. There's a lot of it I don't listen to. Try "Broken Bones". It sounds a bit like a chain-gang chant but is a little like this. Also "I Can't Go On Without You". Don't try to say Icelandic things like the names of those volcanoes, you'll just strain your tongue and have to keep it in a cast for a week. 🤣 Similar driving blues music like this includes, of course, our beloved Avi Kaplan's "Change On The Rise", Ed Sheeran's "Make It Rain" (excellent!!! 🔥🔥🔥) and "I See Fire", and Adelle's "Rolling In The Deep". C'mon brother and sister Saucytrons, give us more that you know of.
