Unfortunatly, it likely isn't that simple. Please understand that until women's suffrage actually passed, it was a repressive, uphill battle for women where men had most of the political and economic decisions. Most of society was women repressive until the 20th century. Saudi Arabia is a unfortunate remnant of that time that refuses to respect human rights.
