Sure, but I think most Muslims and most Christians and most Jews have the same issue: they may be decent and so might their religious practice, but your holy books are not. Saudi Arabia is following Shar'ia Law better than any Christian or Jew could hope to follow Mosaic Law. You cherry-pick just as much as Christians who support LGBT people and hold services on Sunday and celebrate Christmas on December 25.

Unfortunatly, it likely isn't that simple. Please understand that until women's suffrage actually passed, it was a repressive, uphill battle for women where men had most of the political and economic decisions. Most of society was women repressive until the 20th century. Saudi Arabia is a unfortunate remnant of that time that refuses to respect human rights.
@GalaxyGal-2 жыл бұрын
The suffragettes fought a very long, violent, bloody battle to win very basic freedoms and it's taken nearly 100 years for us to get from voting rights to equality. It won't be an overnight battle in Arabic/Muslim theocracies, but it should be easier with the advent of the internet.

To all those people who want Guardianship know that guardianship is to protect Women not control women, protect women from men who lie and oppress and take advantage of women, and YOU know Muslim countries only do guardianship to control and abuse women, this is against Islam, in islam women have rights to work get married to choose who they marry and when, and women have rights Against domestic violence and oppression, YET in muslim countries Guardianship is used to STOP women from working and their wages are stolen or taken from them by the husband or family members if they are allowed to work, they are forced into marriages and raped in their own homes, they don't have islamic divorce according to islam, eg if a woman wants a divorce respect her and let her go with honour and respect, they force people and control them, and then they use ISLAM to pretend they are following ISLAM when they are just using excuse to control. you cant just say its shariah and lie, Actions speak louder then words, before saying things do your research, if i abuse people and say its islam it doesn't make it islamic its still a sin, just because you want to control women to make your life easy does not mean you have the right to use islam to get what you want
