You feel really sad for these people? Do you know some personally, or do you always feel very sad because people you don't know, didn't finish a TV show?

The fact that Jimmy took his illness seriously and cared for him all that time, he thought it was real, and it wasn't till the doctor told him that he realized it was all in Chuck's head, this hurt him just as much.

Even after the court scene chuck still tried to pretend he was sick.

well he truly believed he was. it appeared after jimmy got his law license as a mental illness, and even tho it wasn’t physically real it was real to him, but the realization it may not be a physical condition but a mental one made it easier for him to overcome after jimmy did this trick. he had a steady recovery until he destroyed his relationship with jimmy and his condition came back worse than ever and he couldn’t take it anymore and did what he did lighting himself on fire.

@@August81804 Are you mentally ill or just illiterate?....Can you try and write a coherent thought into a sentence? What does this even mean,..... "it appeared after jimmy got his law license as a mental illness, and even tho it wasn’t physically real it was real to him,"

@@August81804IT WAS ALL FICTION 😁We can speculate and create beliefs to suit us but what we saw on film was what the reality of BCS was. Chuck no doubt believed his illness was real. BUT it wasn't. He was mentally ill. What was ridiculous about the show is that everyone kowtowed to him. From Howard and the entire (which was displayed in the end as MASSIVE)law firm to Jimmy. .....It was a ridiculous story line.

Chuck appears to have forgotten the phenomenon that hurts him... Batteries don't pass current unless connected to a load. Ergo, it being solo in his pocket doesn't prove Jimmy's point.

@@emmanuelmurillo5116 no, the battery being in his pocket doesn't prove Jimmy's point. Chuck's reaction proves Jimmy's point. Chuck is too smart to have missed this... It's a plot hole.

@@izawa9211 I don't follow... Yes he did have an issue with the drill, because he knew it was there. And the battery in the drill is connected to the load (the drill).

But from a physics point of view Chuck will never feel the discomfort from a fully charged battery in his pocket because there is no flow of electricity. A battery needs to be connected to a device for current to flow.. So from a scientific point of view Chuck would not have felt.

That he drops/throws the battery on the ground suggests that he felt it once he realized what it was, meaning that the actual physics still work in Jimmy's favor (feeling pain where there should be none)
