Saurian trailer HD

Saurian is an upcoming simulation Video game by Urvogel Games, focused upon accurately simulating the natural ecosystem of the Hell Creek Formation in an interactive format. where players take control of a dinosaur. The game uses the Unity engine as its base, and has a projected Early Access release date of late 2016 to early 2017. The game is slated for release on Microsoft Windows and Mac OS through Steam, with a Linux version to be developed after completion.

I'm so impressed by that T-rex (?) at the end of the trailer. He doesn't just roar for no reason like every big creature in every game does, he comes across more realistic and so does every other thing in this game.

I think there is multiplayer, actually. But the game's main mode is singleplayer, and if there's multiplayer, I don't think it's like that of The Isle.

I bought the game around 2 weeks ago. Right now you only can play the raptor and there are a lot of bugs and glitches. Still I have to say that the game already is amazing and you see a lot of improvment with every single update. The detail is astonishing and I can't wait for the end product.

gavin kailey Id say you should go to the Smithsonian. They usually have experts there. If you don't live in the US or by D.C., id just suggest reading up! This is coming from a future ornithologist (studier if birds) Ornithology degrees can help with getting a degree in paleontology/archeology.

Adrian Rivera all playables will he asking to every one. and the playables so far are Dakotaraptor, Packycephalosaurus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Anzu, and Ankylosaurus. 6 playable thus far. The sauropod and small Ceratopsian(resembling a protoceratops) have been completely cut from the game and Anatosaurus (Also can be called Edmontosaurus if I remember correctly) is not playable due to a migrative lifestyle.

Sadly, I doubt that another period other than the Cretaceous will come around, Saurian is souly based on the inhabitants of Hell Creek. Though it would be cool to see different animals and different environments, but as for now I don't think we will see another period other than the Cretaceous.

I think they just want to have playable dinosaurs, not other animals. (Though a croc might be boring to play in an accurate simulation- they just kind of sit around and wait for a meal to come to them)

They wanted to release it for console, but they didn't get enough on kickstarter. It was sadly a goal that wasn't reached. Maybe if they make enough that'll change, but as of this point in time it doesn't look like it'll happen. The developers wanted it. They couldn't afford it. They were lucky that they made enough for multiplayer.

Yes and same with the people who say the isle is better so we should not compare them as the are extremely different games Saurin focus on accuracy and realism and will provide an accurate representation of the lives of the dinosaurs and is a single player that will include limited playable dinosaurs . The isle will include a variety of playable dinosaurs and doesn't focus on accuracy plus it is a multiplayer game

Multiplayer was a reached kickstarter goal. It was confirmed when they reached that goal. There was a bar with markers that showed their goals and the money filled it past the multiplayer marker. These people keep their work and if something happens they explain why something needs to be dropped/changed. This really is a passion project for them.

Last I checked, The Isle was more like a hybrid of Ark and Jurassic Park/World, where you can enter the world as a human and try to survive it. The Alpha/Beta of The Isle has focused mostly on the dinos because the human interface wasn't finished until more recently. Saurian is exclusively about the dinosaur lifecycle, and so far as I can tell, you don't have to play progressions through different sized dinos to get to the Apex, only to die and have to start over.

RedPanda Gaming The game is in its earliest public release state. The other creatures are probably not ready for playability due to there being bugs and unfinished gameplay mechanics.
