Don't think Simon ever figured out but when the snake got stuck in the shelf that was one of the sidemen they were hunting. Their name even popped up when he pointed at the snake, and when he shot it, Simon didn't lose any health, but he never looked at his health when he shot the snake so he didn't figure out that it was a person. Also the snake (Think it was Josh), was picking things up around him, but still Simon didn't figure it out.
