I just made another 3kg batch of Mr Pauls sausagemeat for Christmas. Absolutely the best sausagemeat recipe out here. It's wonderful to keep using his recipes even though he has left us for a better place.

Thank you! You have taken a process that so many have presented as complicated and scary and presented it in a simple, straightforward way. The explanation of the why’s re mixing and breadcrumbs makes so much sense, again making the doing seem easy. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

This is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Your videos are so great. I really love the oldest, most traditional English cakes and savoury recipes you can find. Right from the earliest days of your bakery. You perhaps don’t realise what important work you are doing in keeping these great practices alive. You are totally unique in that - not seen anyone else doing the same thing and it would be difficult to approach without your background and incredible experience. Thank you so much Mr. Paul, and a very Happy New Year to you and family.

Love your Yorkshire pride seasoning. For me it was the best for flavour. Made the sausage roll ring but I used cranberry sauce as I didn't have any dried at home. Great success and I will be making this again. It's lovely to know what's going on to your food. Thanks for this sausagemeat recipe.

Thank you for sharing your family sausage seasoning recipe. We live in California and can get ‘English Bangers’ that are made here but they don’t taste like the kind I had growing up in Liverpool. The other sausages here are seasoned with fennel and other spices. Not a fan of fennel. I will buy the ground pork and use your recipe to make my own. Jean.

@@LazyCookPete I used to make Tomato sausage here in the shop, but beef is very expensive, due to the fact there is no grazing down the south of Spain, all the beef come from the north and the transport charges are very high. Pete, email me postal address and I'll send you some seasoning I think you'll like, it's my own blend "Ginger & Spring Onion"

Such a beautiful center piece from what really is a simple recipe! Pete Thomas sent us over.... glad he did. We make all of our own sausage. From Cumberlands, (our favorite) Bratwurst, breakfast patties, and our own back bacon and shoulder bacon. Nothing like home made, because there's no store that will make it to your exact liking. We will be checking out some more of your recipes. Though we live in Maine, Rosa is from the UK, Kent area. Oh, and if I may ask, where in Spain are you? Rosa's parents are from Spain and she knows the country pretty well. Please enjoy the Holidays, with your 5 best friends. Am sure we'll be chatting again. TYFS Paul, Stay Safe and Well Mark and Rosa

Hello Mark Hello Rosa, thanks for coming over, it's nice to meet you. I've only been on KZbin about a year, I started it to fill my time after losing my dear Wife Pam after a very long illness. I live in Granada, been here 25 years, had a bakery here for the first 12 years, sold up to care for Pam. Went into the family Pork Butchering business (5 shops in Leeds) until I was 20 then left to learn to bake. I still make sausages and dry cure bacon and ham for the expats near me. Although I've only know Pete a short while he's become a real friend. Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment, I appreciate that. May I wish you both in Maine a very Merry Christmas from Spain. Visit my Website mr-pauls-pantry.com/ For more recipes. Stay safe and keep cooking .
