Ingredients:
1/2 of a medium size cucumber
Green chilli 1
Salt
Fresh buttermilk
For seasoning:
Oil
Mustard
Broken red chilli
Gandhari chilli (if available)
Asafoetida
Curry leaves
Method:
At first remove the skin & seeds of cucumber and cut into small chunks.
Put them into a pressure cooker add some salt along with some water cook for one whistle.
Once the pressure comes down grind it along with a green chilli. Transfer this to a bowl add required salt also add 1 cup of fresh buttermilk. Add in fresh coriander.
Finally prepare tempering and added to the Tambuli.
This is a very quick and simple side dish that goes very well with hot rice also you can use it as a raita along with puliyogare,vangi bath etc
Other vegetables that can be used for this preparation are ash gourd,chayote,Snakegourd Are any watery vegetables.
