Do you prefer 1x or 2x for your gravel bike setup? BTW, Sava kindly offered to give a 10% discount to TWC fans using the code "Cruise10" when you checkout. This is not an affiliate code, so there is no kickback motive for me. Helps you get an even better deal on an already nicely priced bike.

Depends. Gravel has too much range in the US. If it's closer to XC I prefer 1x. More road then 2x
@DaveCM4 ай бұрын
I prefer 1X. It is because where I ride a lot, the terrain changes very rapidly. With a SRAM mullet setup, I have more than enough range. I am currently running a 44 with a 10-50. My brother runs the 46 with a 10-52. So, we still have good climbing gears with good top end. It is rare that I feel caught between gears. That is usually only in a faster group in a race. I've adapted. I even built up a road bike (Vitus ZX1 Evo) with a 1x as an experiment. I'm running that with a 46 and 10-50. The 46/10 is supposed to be equal to the 50/11

welcome back to MI! great to see you already re-adapting to the terrain here. I'm starting to feel like MI is best suited for gravel bikes, not just road riding, so you got a good thing going!

I went to their website to check out their bikes as I’ve been thinking about adding a gravel bike to my collection but didn’t want to drop a lot cash until I was sure this was something I wanted to get into. I like their prices but found they don’t ship to the US. At least it wasn’t an option when I put a bike in the cart and proceeded to check out to get an idea as to what shipping would be. I sent them a message through their website and waiting to hear back from them.

@@rob92026 Let me know if they were able to help. I think only bikes from the US warehouse stock are available in the US currently, but maybe they can help if there's one in particular you want. Sava also just gave me a discount code "Cruise10" which you can use to get an extra 10% off your order

It's a very nice looking bike, at a great price point. I agree with you about preferring a 2X chainring setup, because it's always nice to have that gear range. Looking forward to the road/trail test. 👍

Nice video. I have the same color Sava AK105 road bike. After a few minor adjustments after delivered to me, it rides really well. Many people have come up to me to take photos posing in front of it, LOL. I have the Shimano 105 groupset with a Prowheel flywheel (2x12). Have fun on the gravel bike!

That sounds like a pretty good deal to me ! You often refer to the fact that white bikes are supposedly more difficult to clean , but that is definitely not the case. Bikes of any colour all get just as dirty, the advantage of white paint is that it shows you exactly where the dirt is snd once wipe away it looks perfect. Matt paint , especially a dark one, seems to forever keep a dusty annoying film on it . My bike is brilliant white and I simply love it !!
@TwoWheelCruise5 ай бұрын
That's a better way to say it. No shortcutting the cleaning with a white bike 😂 but they do look really fresh
