I believe this is the same mag used in their axis 2 300 blackout. They are extremely difficult to find in stock. And when you do they are around $60! Savage has to do something with their magazine availability. Either that, or go the way Ruger and Mossberg have, AR mag pattern. So we can use 5-10-20rd AR15 mags. Thanks for the video!

I bought one of these at 350 legend and I would not recommend wasting your money. I’m also having problems with my magazine. It doesn’t want to feed right.

Do you know if the 308 model has removable mags? I've found conflicting info everywhere. Seems like the first generation models didn't have a mag, and the new ones do?

Can the rifle be top loaded? I am loving this gun and want it in .308, but with a mag capacity of 4 rounds, if I have to remove the magazine every time I want to reload, we’ll that’s gonna be a deal breaker for me.

I was wondering the same thing but if it doesn’t say 5.56 then it’s probably just best to stick with 223

5.56 rifles can shoot .223 ammo, but never can u shoot 5.56 from a .223 specified gun 😉
