It was really reassuring to learn that after half a decade LSS is still pushing for improving the new player experience. His insight into Block cards was eye-opening, because I remember as a new player defense reactions really scrambled my brain. Also their dedication to maintaining an exciting limited environment, I guess I had never considered how detrimental defense reactions played from Arsenal could be in that setting. But after playing and loving bright lights so much I'm very excited to draft Heavy Hitters. :)

I don’t understand the design of “powering down” the example of rise above and fate foreseen. Unless you ban fate foreseen rise above won’t be picked over it. Another good example is zero to fifty. Why would anyone play that over zero to sixty? These powering downs will only effect limited/draft/sealed right?

I hope the cards backup his brute support claim. What they did with Rhinar unfortunately looks and feels extremely lazy. New old art, same young art. Same intimidate, same brute. Big hasbro vibes. @@SavageLandsNews yes they did. Sure hoping it comes through for Rhinar! Been a long time. Kayo is pretty cool though. Just give him a sweet claw that goes along with his art and we're golden. Kayo has definitely been the hero packing, while everything else appears to be lacking.
