That says more about Charlie though. If the only time he can "win" a debate is by debating someone who doesn't have the skill to do so that shows he wins not on substance, but on the belief the audience knows less than the other person debating.

I have yet to meet someone with a septum piercing who's emotionally mature. I'm not saying they don't exist, because there could be a few out there, but every single one I've ever met was _very_ far behind for their age as far as emotional intelligence goes.

I'm still wondering what that even has to do with anything. I know at least 5 or 6 20 somethings with nose piercings who are also conservative. Making it an issue isn't really helping with the "stick up their butt boomer" mentality.

@mogdor I personally think it's irrelevant. I try not to judge people based on their appearance, but perhaps it represents poor choices. Different strokes for different folks, though.

@@grifolafrondosa It's definitely irrelevant. People are so judgemental, it's ridiculous. I'm conservative, but I like to look at things objectively, which means removing conservative bias. A lot of conservatives like to say "facts not feelings" but they're all about feelings, they just don't want to admit it. They let their bias and stereotypes influence how they look at everything.

I’m conservative and I have no opinion whatsoever on peircings unless they are excessive or those giant holes in the ear, even then I’m not judging character just the fact that it makes me feel ill seeing those huge holes in the ear

Maybe she should've asked what the practice of voting is considered. At least in local races it's the person with the plurality of the vote who wins. The Presidential race even contains aspects of Democratic voting.

you need to define College, education, I am a retired Chemical Engineer I am 79 years old. What college taught me was I had a lot more to learn, and working in an engineering field was extremely educational Today I own my own home, 2 vehicles, 2 boats and a sizeable retirement nestegg. My wife and I live on our pension and SS but we are not wasteful spenders.

I have a M.A. which required demonstrating proficiency in 3 languages. 2 of them were Farsi, and Arabic. I had to work very hard, to finish it, and learn to think, and all that. These students he interviews have no sense. Put them in a full survival situation for a year- wilderness survival, and see how they change... in fact, let them live in a third world country for a year, and see what life is like there.

I live in 🇨🇦 an actual dem(on)ocracy & as we lived through - the majority does rule. But how can you assure those numbers are correct ? They haven't been manipulated? Because 51% - whether accurate or not - leaves 49% of the people's wants concerns or needs, simply do not matter. It is shocking to see how many Americans appear to hate their country, take for granted their beautiful Constitution --- fighting to erase some of it.... Especially the one , the only one that has kept y'all safe to live free & pursye whatever life you choose.... It's literally insane watching from the outside

3:35. That ISN'T what college/university was always like!! I attended university from 1991-1997 (BA & MA). I went to a Jesuit University where we had to learn ALL SIDES of EVERYTHING! The professors demanded debate between conservatives and liberals IN THE CLASS ROOMS! Do you know what happened?? We became closer friends and better classmates. because we understood each other's situations/lives. MOST professors USED TO teach unbiasedly. There was/is always that "one radical" professor that all of the students knew (My Freshman Intro to World History was mine), but he and I became fast friends. He was a radical liberal from the 1960s and I was a Conservative young man from Scranton, PA. We were "friends" because I gave him a different point of view (as a student living in 1991). My professor taught me a point of view of his Liberal mind growing up as a half black and half hispanic in Harlem, NY during the 1930s. I taught him that Conservatives have compassion & empathy if you just talk to me/us/them....

This is very funny. I am responding to my own post because I looked up the professor that I spoke of above. His name is Professor Walter Petry. He is still teaching and he is on "Rate my Professor." These are the top 2 comments--hahaha. HIS101 Feb 16th, 2019 For Credit: Yes Would Take Again: Yes Textbook: Yes Dr. Petry's class was the very first I attended in my college education. He berated us about how we were there to learn how to learn, how to think. He challenged us to search for objective truth and think for ourselves. He was abrasive at times, but remains the educator who has had the most lasting impact on my life. Class of '97. and.... HIS Mar 18th, 2015 For Credit: Yes Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook: Yes Took this class in 1989. I have never forgotten his class, or his complete disdain of mindless followers. Although a little shocking for a 19 year old conservative, he really opened my mind to the importance of being an independent thinker and fearless at that. I find him to be relevant even today, as I witness world events and social engineering. THAT is what professors used to be like!!! Challenge EVERYTHING and THINK Critically FOR YOURSELF!! I am Generation X. This is what WE were taught....

The "Legislative Democracy," was UNLAWFULLY installed by Presidential Legislative Act, February 21 of 1871. The Democracy unlawfully overlaid the created, ordained and established Republic, the American Representative Republic. You want to know how unlawful that was then, do some research on what a Presidential Legislative Act is and also look into the Constitution to see where such a power is. Then when, IF YOU CAN find that in the Constitution, then when the Democracy was INSTALLED, you will have proof proving that it was not unlawful. UNTIL THEN, AMERICAN is a Republic. It always has been and it always will be. Enough said. PROVE ME WRONG, OR SHUT YOUR HELL UP!
