Yes Jamel!!! I’m so so happy you’re listening to savage garden. This was my childhood. Their music literally saved me from some tough times. Their two albums are fantastic. Darren Hayes is also an amazing singer songwriter on his own. Look his songs up, the words are phenomenal and so truthful and relatable.

When I was 19 back in the year 2000, my gf at the time won tickets to see them live. I bitched and moaned as she dragged me because I was into skate punk and hip hop only. They were so awesome in concert. They were probably one of the groups that made me realize I was missing out on great music because of my close-mindedness.

For me it was 98. This song was in heavy rotation on the radio and at that time all I had was a room I was renting and a radio. So this song always takes me back to laying in bed after a long night shift and shower with my first long term girlfriend. At 19 the room, radio, and stupid young love was all we needed.

@@davidbell5528 A lot of the second album were ballads but there were plenty of songs that were not, and the ones that were more uptempo were outstanding. Plus, even "I Knew I Loved You" has a version called the "Mini Me Remix" or something similar which turns it into an up-tempo dance track. :)

Jamel I could go on for hours about this album. Enough to say - Thank you, You always make me come back to a good place. You see things very different then me, however you have assuredly consistently refocused my perspective to a place of contentment if not joy. This album brought me more reality, truth, and reflection on love then I care to remember. She has passed on, and my emptiness was liken to a universal portrayal of black hole.
