Both versions are just stunners! I love the spade shield on the original. I didn’t realize until you were rolling the stag one around that the end of the handle flares out wider, almost like a Coke bottle shape. I really like that a lot. And, that’s an incredible price for what you’re getting. Thanks for the review.

Yours has a nice hour glass flare to it. Mine is just 2 thick pieces of stag! Its a great knife. I like the original for thinness and pocket ability. But this is a good one for sure. Now im just waiting for more stag covers from rosecraft. Thanks for sharing JB!

No reply needed I'm a big fan of stag scales. I've got both Sambar staghorn and Elk staghorn, but not on knives. It's visually stunning and helps maintain a good grip in all sorts of conditions.
