Very difficult to watch. The wolves of the sea putting on a brutal display. Awesome job of capturing this epic edition of the circle of life.

Very difficult indeed. I was hardly breathing, almost waiting / hoping for the cavalry to arrive and charge ! But as Fran said, the orcas also had a baby. Some people just want to see the Walt Disney’s cute version of life... but they tend to forget Bambi lost his mother at a very young age, in a brutal way. The circle of life... and eating only vegetables because one « respects Life » is full of nonsense to me ! We are part of Nature, part of the food chain... Respecting what we eat is the best thing can do -in my opinion. NOT lecturing anyone ; just sharing my point of view

Yes, it was hard to watch preying upon the most vulnerable. It is the way it is. I question whether the third calf, or escort..whichever one was bleeding, survived. Seems they'd both be Orca and shark bait. Mom and baby. It was hard to watch. To become more educated and see something that is actually real, this footage was important to watch.

Ohhhhh my gosh! I'm commenting at only 6:49 minutes in because while I'm 50yrs old now, my sophomore high school year, my biggest dream was to become a Marine Biologist, live on a science ship, and study Humpback Whales for the rest of my life! Seeing this video of their behavior when it could possibly represent mating behaviors makes me cry because this is one of the many reasons I wanted to study these beautiful marine animals! I am obsessed with your channel because of your love of our beautiful ocean and beaches. I live in southeastern NC and Sea Turtle conservation is huge to me. Life changed my path and while things happened that I don't regret, I do have regrets when it comes to what my dream career should have been. 😞 Thank goodness for people like you!

Incredible footage of the orca hunts. It wasn’t that long ago a hunt on humpbacks was filmed for the first time. Worth pointing out the West Australian humpback population is now about 50,000 and back to a healthy level post whaling. Great footage guys some of the best ever.
