The world's most underrated band is a common thing to say, but in this case it's true. I M H O they also got some of the best videos and being some best live acts.

Avatar are incredible. Amazing live but their official music videos are great too, in that they are very unique, inventive, and some are very humerus. All of the band members are phenomenally talented, all of their songs sound different to each other. You can't put Avatar in a genre really, except to say they are metal. Yes Johannes, the singer, has an incredible voice, range and many singing styles. Not just screams and cleans (as so many singers are), so much more to his voice. And their stage presence and audience engagement is.... Put it this way they mastered how to captivate an audience. I suggest Bloody Angel live at Poland Rock or Freakshow, live at Wacken or their official music videos, and New Land. Please check out New Land official video. Nobody ever reacts to it but it is an absolute gem of a video and a great song. The very happy issue with Avatar is that I love it when people react to their live performances, but then I think "aw but the videos are so good" but if you only react to the videos I think "aw but checkout their live performances, see the show". Both are different experiences but in terms of musicianship and singing, both are spot on.

“How have I never head of these guys before?” That was my question last year. I’m grateful for reaction channels for bringing new(to me) music for me to experience. Also, had I not seen reactions to Jinjer Pisces two years ago, I’d have never opened my mind to different vocal stylings. I was stuck in my 80’s-90’s music space, then, wham, I have a whole new sub-genre to obsess over.

Great reaction! Avatar has a really diverse sound and the vocal range of the singer is incredible. Almost all their songs and albums sound different from each other :) I recommend you react to Hail the apocalypse live at Wacken and The king welcomes ou to Avatar country live at Poland.

The crazy thing is that they sound exactly the same live as they do on their albums, if not better! That man has one of the most versatile voices in metal - growls, high pitched screams and just plain great singing voice. Way underrated band.

Avatar is great and I would recommend their song Colossus. You definitely need to react to Orbit Culture and their video Open Eye.
