Savage Ultralite Timney Trigger Install

The reason your trigger was seizing is by design. You’re activating the safety decocking system. If you go to any savage and pull the trigger only not the safety chrome piece of the trigger it’ll decock. You’re going too far on the trigger spring so it literally can’t retain. Tighten up trigger until it doesn’t happen then cycle aggressively and it’ll happen again, so tighten or increase trigger weight again. Hate the whole system, but it’s pretty safe unless you’re being charged and hit your gun enough to decock it.

What was the other rifle that you installed the trigger on
