This is a dream car. I remember flipping out because I got a sweatshirt with a picture of a countach on it for Christmas back in the 80’s. I was happier with that sweatshirt than any other gift I got. I would give anything to drive a countach.

I am I huge Lamborghini fan and from the videos I’ve seen from people who actually owns Lamborghini Countach. You have to drive them fasts least once a month but preferably once a week. Or you’ll have problems like you did have. The Countach’s cooling system isn’t very good so by driving it fast keeps the engine from overheating and keeps engine cool. And also by having it sit for a long periods of time thin fuel lines in lots of Italian sports cars could clog up with even somewhat stale fuel. So drive it lots or get someone else to drive it lots for the well-being of the Lamborghini. Newer Lamborghinis such as the Gallardo Huracan in Aventador don’t have these problems. Problems are for only the older Lamborghini’s.
@BillBlast73724 жыл бұрын
14:33 *FOR ANYONE UNAWARE* The thin black tubes on the engine is all the fuel lines, they come from a distribution location(the round item on the left w/the hex bolts on top) & lead to the individual injectors.....basically, it doesn't have a fuel rail & these were on mid 80's VW's like a Jetta....just FYI.

Haven't seen the whole video yet, but I'd suspect the timing. I obviously never worked on a Lamborghini but being its the 80s, most cars that era had vacuum and mechanical advances. The vacuum advance may be out and she "finds her balls" once the mechanical advance kicks in.

Didn't knew that some old lambos have a "V-tec"
@NeffF4 жыл бұрын
V-Tec is just variable timing! When you floor it the timing is adjusted at a certain range allowing the engine to rev higher, and more oil is provided to keep the engine properly lubricated! Timing is changed and the valves open up more allowing more air into the engine at High RPMS and lower fuel consumption at Lower RPMS

I have a question: I clicked on the link to purchase a poster of the Countach, but it didn't mention anything about winning a viper? And I know the Koenigsegg is a better & more expensive car, but that Countach is SEX ON WHEELS! I literally can't stop myself from ordering, but it would be nice to know I also have a chance of winning the raffle. Also, have some bigger poster options...it's 2020, not 1950; 16" by 24" is a good start, but a bit on the "stamp collecting" side of the scale...

Randy, as the Countach is yours, and ONLY yours (😉), maybe it's worth getting the seat motors and rails removed, and get the seat put permanently in position for you. Reckon you'd get an extra inch of head space at least. Love that car more every time I see it.... 👍

Randy, the Miura is not much better, when it comes to comfort. At 6 feet your head will be touching the roof. I am 5 10 and it was a though fit for me. Like I mentioned. My grandfathers best friend had one. He stored it for 30 years at my grandfathers shop. When he died, he had no family so my grandfather basically inherited the car. Last time I sat in that car was in 2007 before we sold it. I was 210 lbs and fit. The car was uncomfortable to sit in at my height and size. I was in my 30’s and told my self, this is a car for a 20 something, who weighs 160 and is under 6 feet. Have you ever sat in a Miura?
