It's amazing how well that rusty looking chunk cleaned up. That is a nice piece of gold mate. Here in Tennessee we use fish landing nets to catch crawfish (yabbies). The larger ones we eat and use the smaller ones for fish bait. Cheers 🍺🍺🍺

It cleaned up so nicely! It had a thin coating of ironstone all over it and looked so much like rust.. Crawfish are big deal for you guys I like watching the crab boils you guys have I could certainly get into that🤤. I'll be taking a few nets next trip that's for sure. Cheers🍻

We used to catch Louisiana crawfish with hoop nets...the same as catfish hoop nets but smaller and designed for the crawfish. You should try it for the yabbies if it`s legal.
