They know to be perfectly still when the squirrel is up on its hind legs, and to lower themselves to the ground as much as possible to reduce their visibility, and move forward when the squirrel is foraging on the ground natural born predators, but I do wish that they would not have been tethered,.....ENJOYED WATCHING THIS VERY MUCH !! 🐈

I oppose free roaming cats and dogs. The outdoors isn't a safe place for domestic cats. Disease, predation, parasites, and traffic all take their toll. Similar for dogs, but the additional problem with them is the attacks on livestock and humans.

@@professional.commentator Cats definitely are capable of living their entire lives inside, it may be depressing for cat that is used to being outside, if you do let your cats outside try to keep under your direct supervision so it does damage the native ecosystems any further, or become food for another animal.

First, squirrels have very poor vision. Second, many animals can't actually "see" something if it's not moving. That's why the cats freeze as they do. When they freeze, they just become part of the landscape for the squirrel. The leashes on the cats probably gave them away more than anything. They may have gotten a bit closer without them.

My Savannah cats suck and I have 20 of them my farm is incredibly overrun with mice and rats because of the unseasonable warm spring and they are totally afraid of mice and rats I have to kill them first before they'll even get near them
