Savannah Then and Now: The DeSoto hotel

Went there in September 2020. The weather was perfect for most of our 1-week stay. The rain didn’t start pouring until just after we got the car loaded with our stuff. We almost didn’t get out though, because downtown has a horrible drainage system and there were rivers running down the streets! Anyway, I want to live, actually reside in a balcony room, maybe work at one of the bars or restaurants. I LOVE that place! Even at the height of covid restrictions, it was blissful and relaxing to be there. Someone tell me what a balcony room would cost monthly, to just live permanently?! Lol
