The second business idea about luggage is a thing in Latvia, Riga and I would guess many places too. You can leave your bags there, they weigh them and calculate the price based on the weight and how long it stays there. It's at a big bus station, people just leave their bags there and walk around the city, even locals, not travellers.

Left luggage isn’t super attractive here in the US, but was DEFINITELY a thing when I was in Europe. I had 4-5 hrs between checking out from my hostel and going to the airport in Rome so I was killing time seeing one more museum and grabbing lunch, but I didn’t want to leave my luggage all the way at my hostel. Great video! I've used luggage storage services in Paris after study abroad when I wanted to leave my luggage to travel to other countries for the summer in between semesters and leases. I paid a 100 euro base fee for 2 months and then couldn't make it back in time and had to pay late fees for 10 euros each day after (2 weeks). I've also used luggage storage lockers at train stations for day trips after I've checked out of a hotel and switched cities and did not want to go back to my hotel to pick up luggage. It can be a profitable business in tourist destinations and large cities where people don't use cars to travel.

I live in Mexico, while there are some public restrooms (gas stations, public parks, beaches, government hospitals) they are mostly really nasty or just plain abandoned especially in the rural areas. The only decent public restrooms are those in highly touristic zones. Other restrooms such as airports, restaurants (not all restaurants), private parks, do charge or they'll have an attendant that asks for tips. I would only imagine the rating system to be useful being offered as a service to help government agencies keep track, schedule maintenance/repairs, or cleaning. You could even offer these as add on services so they don't have to worry about it.

The nearest bathroom idea might be especially profitable right now with many businesses not allowing the public to use their bathrooms. Given different areas too their might not be any "public bathrooms" around either...

The quote from the beginning is from Dave Ramsey.

That definitely makes sense. It sounds similar to Graham's philosophy but we knew it wasn't him/

@@MacySavannah He doesn't say it often, just when he rants about how silly it is to try to "keep up with the Jones". Thanks for the reply. All the best.

Fun fact: With allot of financial Insta pages if you look in the comments its almost only other "financial" and "Guru" pages responding. With general comments like; "Great content" "Love this post" Its funny and sad at the same time. They are like promoting their pages to people with similar pages. :')

Woah. That toilet rating app is not a bad idea at all ! Where I live and all through south America we have to pay to use the toilet ... who wants to partner up with me on it? I guarantee it's a million dollar idea !
@MacySavannah4 жыл бұрын
whyyyy do people have to pay for a public restroom...It's beyond me! I think the app would work really well in that situation though

@@MacySavannah you guys should travel to Europe and south America and you'll see why

Can you and or graham do a video on why people are moving out of California more often?
@MacySavannah4 жыл бұрын
I think Graham talked about it in his last Q&A...Pretty much it is to save on taxes.
