These guys have to be one of the greatest bands to come out of the 80's rock era that never cot the fame and notoriety they deserved. I am 47 and their music takes me back to my youth. Luckily I found out about them almost 20yrs ago.

Maybe not everyone know Savatage but everybody RESPECT Savatage,This band (especially this band) has delivered a true,emotional and pure rock music that match with all Metal Tastes far from any comemrcial purpose. On the album "Edge of thorns" Zak Stevens is the singer! Jon Oliva played only the keys. He was the singer on the previous albums. So the original version of "All that I bleed" was sung by Zak as in this video.

@sopoman04 AGAIN, a lot of piano songs uses this scales, X-Japan weren't the first users of that tunes...One thing it's copying another thing it's influences. I could then say that Iron Maiden's "Two Minutes to Midnight" copied Mercyful Fate's "Curse of the Pharaos." or Venom's "Welcome to Hell"...A lot of songs will have some kind of similaritties with others.
