the dark angel box is basically the perfect box for someone that already has a non dark angel space marine army. You basically get half the specialty units and the primarch.

@@TRONRINZLER highly depends but probably a bad idea the only thing you might need based on a recent tourney is more of the companions aka the cloaked dudes and Johnson's msrp is 70 bucks so not much return especially if others get the same idea. If the box is like 230 to 250 you might be able to get a return by selling most of the box.

Nope, our entire group/store is actually leaning away hard from any new Warhammer products. AoS, 30k, 40k, Underworld all of it. We also declined our contract renewal for paints, supplies and books, and will starting January '25 no longer be ordering ANY GW inventory. So many more options, plus we have instore gaming, 8 tables with space. I held a meeting with most of the community and all agreed in the end its needed to send the message to GW. Plus..... the Pile O' grey needs some attention.

Dark Angels looking pretty nice. It's tempting, same with the Knights. My eyes are bigger than my wallet however.

The Knight box is missing parts for the Questor Knight so you won't be able to build Canis or get the fist or top mount weapons. You might want to pair this with a standard Questor kit or get parts from Taro Model maker in the UK

My biggest advice is, RESIN matters! I kept buying the same cheap resin. I bought a different one after having repeat issues. For Miniatures the Resin really does matter.

The Lance box was the Chainbreaker Lance box from 2 years ago, without all the knight option spruces, hence compelling people to buy that second knight solo for all build options.

highly recommend as well for anything about these boxes one looks to poorhammer about them here's a tip. avoid the Tau and Knight boxes like the plague. knight one especially that's damn near a scam

poorhammer is all negative. i enjoy their content, but all they do is complain... how is a box, thats cheaper than buying things at retail "damn near a scam" literally makes no sense. the knights box, and tau box, are two of the best, so what you're saying is clearly misinformed

I already have all of the T'au models so I'll probably skip that one. The knights box will pair nicely with the Chainbreaker Lance I have so I think I'll get that and the Dark Angels one. None of the AOS ones really float my boat this year but I would have gotten the Orc one if they released it last year. Now I have too many TOW orcs so I don't need it.

The past two Christmas Battleforces haven't impressed me, really. The deal is theoretically good, but they haven't been relevant to me. I consider these a major purchase, but maybe some people buy them (semi) impulsively? Sounds fun, just not for me.
