Question, if I wanted to start a trucking business, can I get an mc on a personal vehicle which is less than 10000lbs. And get commercial insurance in the amount of $300,000 and get couple of DOT inspection would that help when I’m ready to start booking loads

You can pay your local DOT for registered weight that you determine, you could register something under 26k lbs and get a $750k auto liability policy to begin aging your MC. Not quite sure what DOT inspection you'll get on a personal vehicle.
