It’s a tight market! It’s possible to make it, but it’s not going to be easy or glamorous. I feel like if you have the goal in mind to succeed in trucking, it’s better to get in when equipment prices are low. Get experience running the business, building up a network of contacts and resources. When the market picks up, you’ll be in position to take advantage. This is what I did, just my 2 cents. Thanks for the platform and the content Vitaly 👍🏾

The drivers on the roads today are frightening. It doesn’t help that the general public seems to look at semi trucks as just an obstacle on the road for them to get around

DOT must demand all states put blind spot info on Driving Tests. They must also create law stating if cars cause an accident with a Truck they will be fined $10,000. This might wake them up.

I live in Chicago and see cars going 80mph easy!!! And we need speed limiters? The big 3 in Detroit build cars that can't go fast enough.
@dangranot570323 күн бұрын
I don't see this as a good thing. We needed a better system for fighting regulation, but throwing out the entire regulatory framework was not the solution. Companies already ran rampant over the little guy, now they have carte blanche to spend as much money as they want to ensure they remain unregulated. Yeah we might see some crumbs as a side effect, but this decision impacts a lot more than DEF and hours of service rules. I hope the Supreme Court can cash in their vacation days because I don't see them taking one for a long time, now.
@A_A_Ron_G23 күн бұрын
I believe common sense will prevail, and they'll not go through with the speed limiters mandate. The problem is not about slowing down a little to 68 or whatever number they propose. That's plenty fast enough for a 40 ton truck. The real problem is having every single truck going the same speed, until there's a hill. The lighter trucks will try to pass the heavier trucks, or vice versa on a downgrade. They won't quite get around, then the road will level out and neither truck will let the other pass. Now you have two trucks side by side for miles, with traffic backing up behind them. The road rage, tailgating, and resulting accidents will be catastrophic.

Accurate. A lot of the pencil pushers in charge of legislation are ignorant to the reality their suggested changes will have.
