Is there a screen product more durable than aluminum to use?

NewB here….ur tutorials Rock! (Pun intent) Lava/split/Glass my retro fit is minutes away. Based on screen trick. I will be using a wire-mesh Larger than a screen smaller than chicken wire does Metal type matter?

Looks great! What would you suggest for those of us that have a ring burner with the holes on the inside of the ring? I’m trying to figure out the best approach but with the burner holes being so far down it’s not so easy. Maybe I should just decorate outside the ring and minimally touch up the center? 🤷🏽‍♂️
