If you have time to look though the shelves of stores that hired lazy workers that don't rotate stock you might get a deal too. Some stores will discount what's almost expired for you, most will not let you take expired goods even if paying or free. Some proactive stores will have almost expired items already discounted. Just have to be there when that happens because they get sold quick.
