Hello Brett, I finally got my 3rd Harmony Hub to work by voice. The problem was, I was *Asking Harmony* when I should of just been saying, *Turn on such and such.* So I solved that problem but, I still can't teach my Harmony Hub the controls of my ceiling fan remote. Did Harmony deactivate that feature? Where you point the remote at the Harmony Hub from 3 inches away, while holding the button on the original remote? Because my model number for my ceiling fan don't work. So I need to teach Harmony how to be my remote. Also, I don't know how to connect other devices and apps like IFTTT to Samsung Smartthings. In *How to videos* their devices are already connected. No, step by step instructions on, How to connect from scratch (Not to a Samsung product). How do I connect IFTTT, Phillips Hue, TP-Link switches, ADT Pulse with the Safewatch Pro 3000 keypad, *Timers* in routines, etc, all without coding..... 😡😡😡 to Samsung Smartthings? And, I wanna buy 2 Samsung *Multipurpose Sensors,* but the reviews on Amazon about them are telling me, don't invest in them. Can you help me? *THANKS*

If you like the 24/7 coverage, and doing the 5 day ring buffer, it only saves money if you have more that 3 cameras with the Plus plan.

Hello Brett, first thank you for giving great information. I have a concern that is keeping me from moving forward. Currently I have several Amazon devises in my home. I have several nest products but am looking at installing the nest security system and adding roughly 8 camera’s through the home. Right now, I have the nest doorbell camera as the only video device, which is on the old nest aware subscription and is allowed with “works with nest”. So my fear, if I go with the nest security system am I going to need to switch out all my Amazon devices and convert all home automation? I like simply technology and maybe I have no clue what I am doing but one or two apps are better than getting several to make things work smoothly...so what would you recommend?

It's great that they lowering the price but they're holding your data hostage. You should be able to record your data locally or on another cloud service if you want but they block any of that. I should be able to use a NAS to store video if I want then you can do cool things like see video when the internet's out and/or save video without using tons of internet bandwidth with multiple cameras.

I still need to find out what is going on. I got a notice for a Nest hub but then when I made the video it said Nest Mini so I'm not sure what will happen.

Hi Brett, in the UK, and I only have the nest hello, £4 a month get 5 day rewind history, if I upgraded to the new plan its £5 a month but lose the 5 day rewind. Also I eagerly your video on the Google account migration, as its currently a mess, got locked out last time I did it. Some nice freebies for taking the new subs, but sticking with 1st gen plan for one cam.

From what I understand is it should automatically send you an email to redeem on if you qualify. Nest Hub Qualifications: 1st Subscriber that upgrades to the annual Nest Aware Plus plan. Nest Mini Qualifications: New Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscriber that signs up for the annual plan.

I only have a Nest doorbell, all other cameras in my home are from another vendor. So this will end up costing me more for the same thing I have today. Edit: Nevermind. I can stay on the legacy plan as long as I don't add another camera.

your should never buy or use nest or ring products ,especially nest you are much better off with a Chinese company or small startup like wyze they don't share all your data wit the police /government like Amazon and Google does
