always enjoy a new Pecktec video, In my own nano tankes ive had a hard time with some anubius, but over the last few months i think ive cracked the code and i have some good growth. Always think of you and how you grow the best anubius. love any video you make, take your time and now rush to keep a schedule. Cheers man!

You saved the Buce!

glad I'm not the only one going through this. turned my 18" Exo-Terra into Paludarium with a drip wall. Anubius nana, christmas moss, hydrocoytal Japan all doing well. Java ferns not so much. Buce staying small, not great, but surviving.

Fun projects. I have done something similar and only recently gave up on it. I only had moderate success. Sold off the plants which survived. Only one tub thrived, and I am not sure why exactly. Growing emersed, at least for me, was quite the challenge. I do know, plants are on a different time zone. It takes them a long time to adjust to new environments and only then do they start growing and looking nice. It's an exercise in patience.

So far it’s been pretty easy. I just ignore it. I cover it up. I ignore it and things are looking better. Hopefully, I can keep it up until these look nice and then try to replant them somewhere at least to get a second shot at it.

Have you noticed if they recover and grow quicker if you remove all the leaves from the rhizome? I have removed the leaves from Anubias and have had mixed results with most of the plants recovering in half the time and growing more leaves but have not tried it with Bucephalandra... I might have to give it a try now that I have typed it out lol

I try to leave a few on but as sone as I see new better growth I trim them off. The new leave will be better adapted and the old one will hold it back. But it needs something to take in light. Keep in mind its just my guess I'm not a biologist. But I have had good luck with that.

As I've said before if you can't keep a difficult house plant .......you can't own a fish !!!!!!
