Even white dial is contemporary the salmon dial brings a bit life in that watch, makes it more alive and more interesting. I like the dauphine hands they are just beautiful. To bad that 6R movements are the way they are. The dial spacer and movemet ring is what I've missed by the NH family. Nice job.

Clean job, sir. I'm planning the same swap in a few months time. I'll keep the white striped hands of my 033 and add a CT090 crystal on top. Love the look on your wrist, it is indeed a perfect size for those small to medium sized wrists.

Great stuff, I was genuinely tense when you were doing the hands & the result is pretty spectacular. You can now get SS cases returned to new condition, they laser weld new material into the deep gouges then refinish it to new. I don't think it's a cheap process though.

Great mod! Can you tell the Hour Indices are out of plastic or metal in the original dial? Confuses me all the time on my sarb.

I've read that the NH35 doesn't fit in the Sarb033/35 because the pinion is too high and the hands won't fit. Is that wrong? I have a Sarb033 with a movement that needs to be serviced. If I could replace it with a NH35, I'd totally do that.

Total B.S, I've fitted 2 x nh35s in sarbs. It is a little techincal because you need to remove the movement holder around the nh35 and swap the dial holder studs from the chassy of the 6r15 and insert into the nh35 chassy, they are friction fitted so need to be pressed with something like a strong pin removal tool. It is quite fiddly but can be done with patience.

I actually bougth an US salmon dial too after watching your videos but I did not go with the mod since I recently got a copper dial watch, the Lorier Safari. My Sarb035 I got it second hand and the movement does not run that great, about -15sd. I was thinking about getting a nh35 movement and replace it. Do you know if that´s possible to do? I checked the Islander watches that have this exact same case but they come with a Miyota 9015. Do you know if it´s possible to get that movement into my Sarb instead? I think the Islander case is about 0,5 mm slimmer so It should not be a problem, right? Let me know if you can, I really enjoy your content!

@@santiguierrez yes that's definitely doable, I've done it twice with an nh35 but -15 isn't bad at all, demag it and regulate it. If amplitude is around 200 then consider a change but if beat error n accuracy is fine then don't bother
