I pre-braid my hair underneath, make sure cap is secure to my head, and use Bobby pins. Using a lot of product on edges is bad for them. And I don’t have time to remove product at night. That process takes a total of 5 min to get ready in AM.

Cornrows put too much stress on my edges. I'm tender headed and I can't take the pain. That's why I only flat twist my hair underneath my wigs... and I don't know how to braid.😁 Your install was super quick. That's why I like closure wigs. It just takes too long for me to install a frontal. I always have issues laying down the sides. I rarely see closure wigs available on most sites.
@MsNaturallyMary5 жыл бұрын
Cynthia Cummings You are absolutely right! I don’t enjoy doing cornrows. Seems like since I’ve been Natural I’ve become tender-headed as well. Flat twists are definitely a better option. Also, I had gotten away from closures when Lace fronts became a thing. But, giving them another shot, I’ve been like “Wow!” These are sooooo much easier to install😅

@@kenishahanley3718 He was diagnosed with alopecia areata. originally it was just a small patch here and there... he would get the injections once every two months.. the patches grew in.. then more would show up in different areas seems like out of no where...still just small patches. The patches grew in it took about a year of treatment at this point. Then a year later over half of his hair fell out. When that happened it took nearly a year and a half to grow back. During this period we were both discouraged and didn't see any progress for months . He had to up his treatments to once a month. We finally saw progress . Now about 99 percent of his hair has grown back. A small part of his nap still hasn't grown back but his doctor explained to me that's the hardest area to grow back. He just had a treatment last month. He has another one Scheduled for December. But since this last episode when the majority of it came out and it grew back we haven't had any more hair lost! Its been over a year now with no hair lost. Over all its been a long journey just stick with it even if you don't see progress at first. His doctor told me the worse thing to do is to stop treatment even if you don't initially see a change. I hope this helps and I'll be praying for you. Don't give up !
