There are replacement parts on eBay that are actually made from steel

Dang I've got a 22 2025r with Mauser cab. Brakes might be nice since I use in town. Appreciate the videos!

I had the same question….why stop at 2022 model year? After coming across and watching your first video on this topic earlier today, I went out to my 2023 1025R and put a magnet to the part…not steel. My unit is not on the recall list according to the JD website so I won’t be getting a notice but my question was why? Just came across this video this evening and feel vindicated!😂 Nothing good about this issue.

appreciate your video feedback, mine is a 2020 1025r, have not got a call or a letter from the dealership saying a word to me about this but that's on them and i tend to trust those who are in the same boat as me. right noe i dont use the brake system even when the machine is off and parked because of this very issue, hope they figure something out soon.

Have you gotten your letter yet? They started going out last week.

Recently found your channel and I'm catching up in your videos. I'm considering a 2025r. I watched your video on your wheel spacers and wondering if that mod would effect your warranty? Thank you!

It did not affect it. They were off at the time of the transmission failure. I was repainting them. I have additional info about the trans failure tho, that I'm filming soon.

Stopped by my dealership today. They didn’t have one of the parts in stock but they did have a couple MY2024 2025r’s there. The bell crank on each tractor was the same as the one on my 2022. So I have no idea why the recall stops at Sep 2022…for now

Same. I looked under a new one and it was the same "old" part. The 2022 part is a real mystery to me.

Ok now I see your update. My part arrives Tuesday Aug 6th via UPS to my door. If it's the same part ? It'll just be another JD aggression to deal with. Now the part last 4 years on my 2020 and looks perfectly fine. I don’t do much work outside of low gear, so stopping is easily done with letting up throttle. Should my part fail, I have back up. If JD has a fix by Christmas, I'll entertain that fix, either by me with new part or I'll surrender my tractor to the dealer. Will not stop use

It's not a bad idea to have a backup. I don't think I'm gonna mess with the hassle of pickup/delivery to the dealer. When the updated part comes out, I'm probably buying it and doing it myself.

Ok got it. 🧲 does not stick 😂

My 2021 MY 2025r was delivered back to me on Thursday. They never said 1 word about this recall (the delivery guy didn’t know crap) and it looked as if nothing was replaced. I swear it’s the same Bell crank. I’m going to drop by the dealership and ask about this recall then update you on my results

It's the same part. Others have suggested that the recall stops in 22 because model 23 machines have a hand brake, therefore the part doesn't need to be replaced. Again a rumor, but it makes sense.

I checked my John Deere 1025r tractor TLB for a possible brake linkage failure. It doesn't appear that my 2019 series tractor has the type of "Bellcrank" that would fail. Here's some pics of what my linkage looks like... kzbin.info8hawdNgpzz0
