I really don't like that look, which is why I'm debating of even trying my first pixel with the 9 or just stick with Samsung. I like slim light look of the 8 but would've really like the features of 9.

For me it looks like the Iphones are designed for left handed poeple. If I grab the Iphone with my right hand, often I accidentally push some buttons and make some screenshots. If I grab the Iphone with my left hand I didnt push accidentally some buttons. However I am right-handed, so the Iphone is very uncomfortable for me.

As someone who doesn't game, performance has never been my biggest issue with Pixels. Build quality and quality control have always been the worst. If they're going to charge the same prices as Apple and Samsung, they have to have made big improvements in this regard. I'm holding on to see what issues arise then I might make the switch back from iOS

I been using google phones since the google 4. I just got the google 8a on google fi. Its my secondary phone. Only problem I had with google phones, is the battery always expand on me. But still buy the google phones.

Today i have seen the prices of a brand new pixel 8 pro has been slash to around £600. I think that is worth some serious consideration over a brand new pro 9 xl going for 1100 for example

But only get the p8p if brand new , don't get second hand or refurbished or battery will be trash , plus may not have warranty too. Would avoid 128gb models too, 256 or 512 would be ok. 512 may be worthwhile if you're planning on keeping for a long time

@@narcyzascvierch8309 depends what you're upgrading from. If you have a phone with a good trade in value get the 9 , if you have a phone with little to no trade in value get the 8. If buying the 8 , I would only buy it brand new as second hand or refurbished the battery will be trash

I just got purchased the pixel 8 with 256gb storage for £559. It works out as a steal for that price in comparison to the 9 which is approximately £900 for the minor upgrades

My OnePlus 6's camera just broken and its battery run out of battery very fast within just under 3 hours of continuous use, think of moving to either OnePlus 11 or 12 or Google Pixel 8 or 9, all of them are expensive for what I need but I don't want to get lesser model than this so I'm considering a used copy of these.

I wanted to get the 8a when it came out. Just couldn't justify upgrading to it from the 6a I had. Bigger bezels and not much else or show for the 500 bucks (expensive A series at release!). Ended up snagging a 9 from Best Buy on release day for basically free using a Best Buy deal after trading in an iPhone 12. Wild deal, and so glad I waited. True upgrade in terms of having wireless charging, solid processor, no overheating really, and huge RAM upgrade.

Never had battery problems on my pixel 8. I usually have 4 hours of screentime and I always end the day with 30/40% of battery left. Never had network issues. The phone can get a little hot, but only because it's very hot where I live (35°C/40°C during summer).
