this yet another work in progress. i hope to keep writing and recording, and sharing the process with you all. this is unmixed, and unfinished. this is the way i right and record... on the fly. very little is needed by way of treatments as i use very old gear and most of it has it's own sonic identity. a little eq here and there, and trim the levels...
Andrea Wright takes that (or in the case of this song, will end up taking it) and uses it as a blueprint, removing any annoying frequencies or bringing out punch in the others.
the drums and vocals are a scratch track.
i wrote this quickly on 12 string vox with Hakon also playing a 12 string part, i played the main vibrato bit, and he played clean, switching off the vibrato on
the chorus.
the 6 string vibrato into distorted riff is hakon playing through my ac 15 and i clicked it on and off at a half speed setting. it's 74bpm so 37bpm haha
all of those parts are clean, no pedals. remember that... pedals are not the answer for not ideas.
