this is by far the best best BJM song and one of my favorites of all time. when anton and co. played in salt lake city about 8 years ago, me and a buddy were yelling "swallowtail" (like total jackasses) between songs the entire set. and toward the end of the evening after we yelled "swallowtail" yet again, everybody on stage looked at each other and shrugged and then started in on it. they played an 8 min. version that sent me to far off galaxies and then said goodnight. thanks, anton.

I remember the days when the live gigs could be 'unpredictable' - but the music was always just awesome. What a great band...

Love this band - and this is my favourite track - especially live when you can get 10-15 minutes of it... live music doesn't get much better than this - raw and honest and just bloody brilliant !!

this song pulls a heartstring, i can feel the emotion in it. it makes me think of hearts that I have broken. it almost brings a tear to my eye.

Closest I could get the lyrics; there's one part I can't figure out. I love this song. Well can't you see it's hard for me To send you on your way When I heard so much of I give ups In every word you say But we make love together, And nothing takes it place Not kicking in my door tonight And screaming in my face Can't you see it's hard for me …. … most everyday When I see so much of I give ups in every single way. But we make love together and no love take your place Like kicking all your front teeth out And screaming in your face

+Primera Espada in most google lyrics websites u find something else on the first line "Well can't you see it's hard for me To send you on your way" you are the only one i see online who understadn it like this

+thatswhyudie Most googles lyrics have weird words on them. I listened to the 98 peel session to get these lyrics. I know if you listen to the tepid peppermint wonderland it has sightly different lyrics also, which i love.

yes ofc there is nothing agains a litle different between the lyrics! i like it there are much more i can give for examples bjm- yeah yeah he sings every live act a litle different i love things like that man.. thats not like mechanical robotic music u know :D

It's already there in the web, although I think he improvise some when live I see it's hard to be alone in everyway When you hear so much of I give ups In every word they say But we make love forever And nothing fills that space Not smashing in my door last night And screaming in my face Can't you see it's hard for me To send you on your way But I've heard so much of I give up In every word you say But we make love forever still And I'll not fill that space By punching all your front teeth out And laughing in your face

I usually hate revival bands because it's just copying a popular formula, but I'm a hypocrite because I can't help but like BJM. But he uses a fake British accent in this song. Ugh... But god damn it I still like this damn song. GOD DAMN IT
@GoteeDevotee8 жыл бұрын
BlueDog 1 It's quite hard to sing in a British accent... singing naturally follows a mid-atlantic tone for British singers.
@NEVERagainEVER4233 жыл бұрын
It's not a fake Brit accent. If you grew up in California beach cities...ALL talked that way!! Bloody Hell! The Brits don't rule accents! 😎

This tune and Childhood's End by Pink Floyd are the two most underrated songs in the history of rock. Fucking Brilliant
