On your recommendation, I bought a Karcher K1700 in May of 2019 and it’s still going strong after 4 years of weekly washes for 2 cars. I’ve since bought 3 more and stashed them at my Mom’s house, my GF’s parents’ house and my Aunt’s house so I always have one available to clean their cars when I visit. At $120 a pop, they’re such an excellent value. I’ve got your advanced upgrade kit and the upgraded gun/wand/hose/nozzles make it an absolute joy to use. When I saw KZbinrs promoting these I looked at them and knew instantly they were crap. Have to thank the great OG pressure washing testing videos for gaining the knowledge. They make no sense. $300 + for an $80 pressure washer. So when that cheap pressure washer motor goes bad and isn’t repair-able the hose reel is useless also and you have to buy both again. Far better off to buy the Ryobi or Karcher and a separate hose reel.

I have the Grandfalls Pro. To me it works great and has plenty of pressure for car detailing. Personally I don't want paint-stripping levels of spray pressure for car washing, I have another portable pressure washer that I can use for that if needed. Could it use a bit higher GPM?...yes, but it is sufficient overall. Would be nice if it were more like 2 or 2.3 GPM, but again it's OK. It seems to be made well-enough and I have had no issues with it, but time will tell long-term. Part of the equation in buying it is I could buy 4-6 of these units for the price of a pro-level wall mount setup, and the usage rate of a home-user a couple times per month vs a professional detailer comes into the equation as well with regard to expected longevity. If I were doing this professionally I would definitely not select this unit. Also worth noting as I investigated these the Pro model is a big improvement over the earlier/lower models b/c of the improved motor. Good luck! YMMV.

It is true that they try to reach out to smaller creators, hoping that they'll get excited that a company noticed them, with them not knowing any better. They reached out to me before and I declined, but not every small creator knows what BS might look like. They take advantage of the creator's excitement for being noticed. Hey Matt great video! Ive never used their more expensive units and its a shock to see the lack of performance at the price of these . I did a review on their new unit the G20 and for $200 it seemed to be a decent option for someone who wants an all in 1 unit where they dont have to mess with setting up everything separately. Although it peaked at about 15.60 amps with the nozzles it came with. With a 3.5 nozzle i was at about 950psi and close to 1.7 gpm which was very surprising to me. They sent me the unit and tried to get me to sign a contract which i said no thank you to, exactly for the same reason you just bought these... I wanted to be 100% honest in the review (i actually only took the unit from them because they werent available to purchase at the time and I wanted to test it out). Most of the accessories and casing i referred to as "fine" nothing great but again for the person that doesnt want to mess with extra upgrades it would get the job done. Anyways, thanks for shining some light on their more expensive units. As you said in the video, not everyone can afford a Kranzle but at 380 and 600 these ones are are not cheap by any means and that performance does not justify the price

You don't even trust the Kranzle enough to not fail that you use 2 Kranzle inline (It makes zero sense to me) but I'm sure it is fantastic for your use case. For the 4 months of good weather we get here in Alberta Canada, the simplicity of the giraffe compared to the jerryrigging and all the individual pieces you have to purchase to use active 2 in the same fashion setup makes the giraffe a better value for me least in Canada. The active will costing additional 300 bucks at least by the time you are done with all the additional accessories. I was looking for a reasonable response and after scrolling for 5 minutes yours is the only one that mirrors my sentiments. And a coincidence that I'm also from Alberta. This review completely overlooks the selling point of the Giraffe, not once does he talk about the fact that it is wall mounted all in one solution with 100ft hose. I've been using a cheap typical pressure washer from Home Depot for years, and I'm sick of carting out the power cable and extending the hose, and expending effort lifting the unit around the car. As far as I can see, if you want convenience, this is by far the CHEAPEST solution and it makes no sense to compare it against rolling pressure washers. The cheapest unit that OG sells is 3x the price of this Giraffe Pro I bought. I did appreciate the technical details about pressure washers in general, but I am willing to pay extra for the convenience and pay that trade off against a cheap motor. It is more than enough to wash my floors, deck and cars.

Not everyone needs pro level stuff to wash their car or to do small tasks around the house. Several of my friends bought them after they saw mine and how convenient it is. Out of 4 units between me and my friends one has failed because it was left outside in below 0 temperatures. Guess what they replaced it no questions asked. The hose reel convivence is unbeatable and frankly unmatched. To say this is the worst pressure washer in existence is just frankly not true and it sounds like you made this video because it was taking money away from "your" products.

Matt, few things I hate about this pressure washer. First and most Giraffe Tools customer service is terrible, they have no clue. You ask the same question ten different ways, and they still won't know. Mount should be at least 16 inches wide. In order to mount that I had to open my wall, this thing is heavy. Of course, you can do plywood or any type of board, but it would push it out of the wall and look bad. The water inlet is so weak, I broke one already trying to put a 90 elbow, and I don't know who engineered this, but man, it's a nightmare. I have the orange one, supposedly with a better hose. It's still stiff and hard to maneuver, I can only imagine how the previous model must be having a new one so bad. But at least it's replaceable, so I might change it one day. Foam cannon that came with it is too small, barely can go around my car with first hit of foam, but this can be fixed by simply getting a bigger foam cannon. We will see how long this machine lasts. Other than that, I can't complain. Sound doesn't bother me. Mine doesn't squeek like the first versions were, so Giraffe Tools fixed that at least. I'm using MTM SGS28 with QDs, screw their original gun. Hose reel works with no issues, I never had any issues with it. Its locking mechanism works great, too. I added a 20amp separate circuit just for this washer, so I can't really tell what would happen if one had it on a 15amp along with some other stuff plugged in. Oh, and their Giraffe Tools logo falls off. Of course, I told them that, but they disregarded my message after my previous attempts to get some other answers about other things. Matt, I've spent close to $2500 just for the prevost piping setup I've built. Investing so much and going with a shitty washer like GT is a rape right here, but I did what I did, had to cut corners somewhere. In general, I'm happy with this washer, although it needs some improvements. Plus, I can't compare it to anything else except SunJoe, never used Krenzle or AR or any others, so I might not know if grass is greener on the other side.

I mounted it into a custom sound enclosure to keep it out of the weather and quiet. After 20min continuous use the enclosure does not heat up. It has more than enough power to wash our cars and also to remove paint and algae and stuff from surfaces around the house. It foams very well. Talk about a buzz kill, something told me this product was too good to be true... But now I can adapt my layout/plans to upgrade down the road when this ultimately fails. So glad I did not sell my original power washer.

Not sure why Matt says pressure washing and induction motors are the worst at 5:55...my AR Blue 630-TSS has an induction motor and it is fabulous. Both the Kranzle K1322TS and the Karcher 2100 PS have induction motors. On the other hand, the Active 2.0 and Karcher K1900 both utilize universal motors. Most higher power electric machines use an induction motor. Induction motors are heavier duty, produce more power, and last longer than universal motors. Universal motors are lighter, louder, and cheaper than induction motors.

UPDATE: I assume the standards of OG is simply higher than the average person that washes their cars and around the house. The Giraffe brand seems to work just fine. I have wall mounted my unit which is nice, out of the way. The pressure seems smoother than my old Sunjoe. The pressure could be a bit higher for sure but with the right attachment it's fine for my needs. I would not consider this pressure washer as junk at all.

If a product doesn't do, what the manufacturer or dealer specifically says it does, send it back, used or not. Getting their products returned and having to pay for return shipments is the only thing that will stop them selling crappie products.
