I've said this before but my father was a furrier back in the 60's and 70's. The 12 story building in Philadelphia where he worked consisted of ALL furriers except for two non-related businesses. I went back there about five years ago. Not one furrier! The industry is dying and even my dad renounced the profession years ago. The reason why there are STILL fur farms in this country is that the U.S. is all about money. They abuse any animal they want if there's money to be made. Racehorses being drugged and forced to race with injuries, greyhounds living miserable lives, and the vanity of people who still want to wear dead animals. Our shelters still kill healthy animals. There should be a federally funded free/low-cost mandatory spay/neuter program to end this barbarism. Our government gets an "F" when it comes to animal welfare.

I love your channel and just wanted to drop a comment letting you know how much its impacted my life. I have an autoimmune disease and was born with a heart condition that has prevented me from holding a job long term and honestly has greatly diminished my social life over the last decade. I've always been closer with animals than people (mostly kitties, but foxes are one of my favorites too) and have struggled to find my place in the world and in myself, being sick a lot and a more emotional/sensitive person. I'm finally coming out of a very long dark period from some heart surgery/coma related PTSD combined with other things, and have been working in therapy to build myself up and one of the things was finally finding a life goal I guess you could say. Trying to find a career that would allow me to basically be my own boss and take things at my pace, but still be fulfilling as opposed to just online work. After a lot of soul searching and then researching Ive decided to start a Cat Sanctuary, and honestly your channel is one of the biggest influences. My husband and I are moving this summer and are planning on getting a farm with a lot of land out in the country to be able to build a wonderful place for cats who need it to come and live their lives in peace, with love and security. I know it's going to be a lot of hard work and effort, and trust me this isn't a whim decision, I've taken a lot of thought, care, and research into it, but I am also extremely excited and so happy and I can say that without your channel I might not have realized it to be a realistic goal. I've taken a lot of inspiration and notes from how you do things, and really just wanted to let you know that you have genuinely touched my life and changed it. I spent a lot of my darker days watching your journey and the little foxes always made me smile through the hard times (I especially love watching Serafina get the snow zoomiez, Kipper and Kai, plus I love when Octavia pops up, literally haha). With the demand for fur in the fashion industry decreasing, countries and states starting to ban fur farms, and brands now dropping furs from their fashion lines, it seems like we will see more fur farms shutting down in the future. Oh my gosh 😢. This one has me crying. The poor girl spins in circles because the ear infection is bothering her so badly. Thank you! Yes, they were living in cages (the one at the beginning) all their lives, never touching the ground. There are still 390 foxes in the now shut down fur farm and some chickens that I think belonged to the fur farmer. We must support SAF's fundraise so that they can buy land and build additional facilities, plus rehome, all the remaining foxes

People who use animals for food or fur commercially usually keep them in sparce confinment.. cows, chickens, pigs etc....its cruelty but legally sadly allowed.

When i was still volunteering at the pet store for the cats, we had a sweet young girl with a permanent head tilt due to worms in her brain and she just didnt return to normal after treatment, but she was super sweet and adventurous. Lil Pumkin, I kinda miss that sweetie
