I wanted to make a suggestion based off an unfortunate discovery I recently made. Could you maybe do a video on auto turrets and mention that if they do all the damage, unlike junk turrets, you get NO experience for the kill? I just got done with a horde night. I had an exceptionally lucky week and managed to get better barter high enough that the traders had generator and auto turrets for sale in their secret stash so I decided to go for it. I setup a shotgun turret on the roof for birds, and one smg turret on each side of my horde base to shoot on incoming. They proceeded to absolutely SLAUGHTER the zombie jerks, but I got nothing for it. I literally had to leave my horde base and open fire with automatic weaponry to tag the zombies and get exp from the kills. Ruined my horde night big time. On the other hand, in an earlier game I had junk turrets setup and they gave me full exp for the slaughter fest. Not quite as effective at killing, and needed way more reloading due to much lower magazines but still effective. I know you have done a turret video for sledge and junky, and a basics on how to do wiring and such, but I dont think you ever mentioned the auto turrets. It might help future new players at least know what they are letting themselves in for. Like, maybe they will consider it a fair tradeoff that they barely get any exp on horde night in exchange for much easier zombie killing. Or they will wait till the hordes are big and bad enough that the auto turrets only put a dent in the zombie jerks and you still get to kill plenty. Sorry if this is the wrong way to leave you a message but I couldnt find one to contact directly or through youtube other than this.

An old(ish) video but damn you damn you. I have recently re-watched this video, death noise are brilliant. Your item about land mines. Today happily looting boxes and trash amd I saw a hub cap, norhing to see here, stepped on it and boom, I am dead. Also, taking a stroll/drive got to the edge of the map started taking radiation damage. Put my vehicle in reverse and went backwards. Thankfully got back in time. Some other times, not so lucky

The radiation zone is in all biomes not just the wastelands. Just look for the road closed signs they mark the beginning of the rad zone. Granted they are on the roads leading out and if you not near the road you won't know but they are an early warning.

In console version those mines are the absolute bs, they one shot you even you have best armor on (military used to be the best) Starting from a16 they no longer kill you so easily if you have armor

In 2 playthrus, I've died about 40+ times... 30 in the first playthru... Most of the ways I died was falling off high ladder tops, multiple bird attacks with bleeding damage... Infection cos I didn't know how to cure it... starving to death cos I spent too long building and not enough time hunting, falling into a trap in a poi with 10 of the most badass zombies in the game with almost no way to escape... getting swarmed with a huge attack while I'm mining and stuck in the hole with 10 guys... or on horde nights when I make a mistake and fall off something into the horde... bears and tigers and to a lesser extent, dogs and wolves attacking me, often while I'm in a poi and didn't expect them to turn up... mines also killed me but luckily I found that book really early on both playthrus... oh and yes, being killed by my own traps

I didnt knew cars exploded! I started playing recently (at A20) and I often jump on top of cars to have some safe distance when fighting zombies out in the open, or on interior garages (specially military bases) I often jump on top of trucks (electric, medic, military) never seen them explode so far. I guess I've been lucky

i recently found some boots called "hazmat boots" i think or radiation boots.. i forget.. is there a full set of radiation clothing so you can go into the radiation area? will they be implementing it? i hope they add new much tougher areas and pois in the irradiated zones on future updates...

There is a full set of hazmat gear. It doesnt complete negate radiation however, you will eventually still die. More so for if you need to retrieve your bag from outside the map I'd say. However I alpha 20 they're making some parts of the wasteland biome radiated. Hazmat suits should be more useful in alpha 20

@@TheTerryance sounds good but it would be nice if they added more poi's in the already radiated edges of the map that are much tougher... ive found the game quite easy for like 50 levels or more.. after level 100? or less maybe it got easy and i finished exploring the map and not sure what to do now.. didnt want to start a new playthru in case alpha 20 comes out and ruins it.. ive almost completely turned my entire base into steel... just randomly thinking up weird buildings to make now... i was trying to test out making a ramp jump to jump the canyon in my car but the car doesnt go over the ramp very well... i also thought of making a loop so you could drive around a loop upside down but i barely made it to the vertical... seems like the game isnt designed well for messing about on vehicles.. also all my storage things are getting full having to make tons of new storage but is there any point in just saving up more & more stuff? the only thing i havent tested is turrets and advanced traps, mines, electrical stuff. no idea how it all works.. it would be nice if they put higher level pois in the radiated zones... not just with traps that make it so you cant escape and get overwhelmed.. its a bit cheap... and you just start to learn their tricks and avoid them... tougher newer enemies maybe.. higher level loot... stuff you cant get in the other zones..

HI, any advice on Zombie pathing? Is there a maximum height Zombies will climb if i leave an open path up a tower on a horde base? A height that they no longer know where you are? If I build to the top of the world height, will the zombies still follow me to the top up a staircase or will they just attack the bottom and knock my tower down? I was thinking of making a horde base that wastes as much of the Zombie's time as possible... maybe have them climb an extremely tall tower, get knocked off by a sledge, and then take damage and have to walk back up... or even more so, dig a pit right to the bottom of the world so they fall the furthest distance possible.. would it work? I know its not necessary but I like the idea of them trudging for hours & hours like Frodo going up Mount Doom only to be knocked off and basically turning them into zombie base jumpers... any tips?

7:00 that poi trap NEARLY killed me the first time I fell into it, but I managed to somehow get out and had to escape by jumping off roofs and breaking my legs and then riding off on my minibike.. the second time i went there i just used my iron pickaxe to break all the metal walls and then sneak attack shoot them all with my bow... problem solved...

When I see that I'm going into the wasteland on my bike, I turn around and go back in the direction I came on whatever road I'm on, and I always check to see how much map is in that direction, that way I know when the Rad Zone is near.🤔 I never suicide, you still get that penalty anyway so... I just go out naturally if I'm too far gone for any reason and can't up my health.😣😄

Interestering fact: if you are using the night googles and you enter the irradiated zone, your sight is completely blurred and you need to get rid of the googles to be able to see again. A Complete nightmare if you enter this zone while driving a 4x4 😷
