That close up of Chris’s mouth while he was eating the scone was diabolic, Simon 🤣. Merry Christmas

The Christmas trees were so beautifully decorated and the garden looked immaculate. What a lovely way to enjoy the festive spirit just before Christmas Simon. Yes, too bad about the food but Chris looked like he was enjoying his scone! Lol😂 Enjoyed this video Simon and wish you and Chris a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and fun New Year as well😊🎄🎉🎩

Well this was lovely. I’ve just added Erddig to my list of British places I must visit, despite the lackluster food. Can I just say that I am also a cream then jam scone person and also that the music you chose for your stroll around the grounds was perfect. The whole vlog was a perfect lead in to the holiday. Happy Christmas to you and to Chris!
@SavidgeReads12 сағат бұрын
I’m sooooo pleased you enjoyed it. Music picking is sooooooooo hard for vlogs. It’s the bit I spend the longest on… and that’s saying something cos I am quite finickity with the video content. And of course you’ll do Erddig as we will go together… arguing about In Memoriam all the way 🤣 Hope you and your family have a fabulous Christmas Cindy!

I went to Erddig with my younger brother earlier this year - he lives not too far away - and it was lovely 😊 I could just imagine Mr Darcy climbing out of the lake/pond. I remember my brother saying “you know you’re getting old when you love to walk around a nice garden!” 🤣
@SavidgeReads22 сағат бұрын
I don’t think that’s getting old lol. I just think that’s enjoying nature and fresh air. And Erddig has such a wonderful garden too, in all seasons.

Rain. Visiting a National Trust property. Queuing. Hoping for scones. All you needed was a cuppa tea to make that the most British video ever. 🫖🤣
@SavidgeReads23 сағат бұрын
Oh there was tea with the scones. But that was dishwater tea and I refused to film it.
@MJ-in-Canada23 сағат бұрын
@@SavidgeReads Outrageous! My late mother used to cause me embarrassment at restaurants by sending back the tea if it wasn’t up to her standards. I have become my mother. 😆
