I understand that even Gieves and Hawkes has to fit in with current modern days, but it is a kind of tradition and historical fashion house. So I want them to protect classic rather than jeans and casuals.

Male mannequin wearing stone coloured DB suit with tan/white scarf almost looks lifelike!! Even blinks occasionally. Actually, I found him to be a wee bit creepy.

I liked the video, but the thing blocking the camera lense in the top left edge was extremely distracting and really downgraded the quality of the video. Keep at it, because the content is great, even if the execution could use a bit of work.

Sadly it shows how far away we have come from a man being turned out right, from the comments I have read. Do any of you know how a suit, can give a man a look. That he is power and style in that short a time. The suit make of the man.

That tartan suit looks old, not modern or classic at all. It looks like your grandfather's closet. I do like tartan but rather limit it to jackets and it needs to have some modern colour to it. That suit is dated now and it was dated 9 years ago, by contrast I watched an interview with Alan Flusser that was 10 years ago and both the interviewer and Mr. Flusser looks just as if they filmed that video this month. For example, a wax cotton jacket looks Classic, no one thinks "old" or "outdated" just classic compared to today's nylons. I am also just not into skinny leg look, it is a fad; you need a cuff wide enough to sit at the back of the shoe, not so skinny it falls into the shoe by the heel. Too much exposed sock does look like your pants are not your own, it may be passable in the summer but I saw a fellow downtown wearing a suit showing too much sock in February and he didn't look cool, he just looked like he outgrew his suit as if he owned it when he was 17. Tell your camera man that the constant up and down is boring after the first time, focus on those who are having the conversation.
