Great story. Keep the cars together and film starting them up and putting them back on the road.

Very cool story and I'm happy for you to be able to rescue a couple of your childhood dream cars. They are both awesome cars, but if the 89 is a Formula 350, that's a pretty rare and special car. I have a bunch of these on my channel too. Hope to see you bring these Firebirds back to life!

That is a neat story! I have owned fourth gen Firebirds since high school and 20 years later I still only have Firebirds. I have a 2001 and 2002 Formula, both black also. Glad to see you saving these birds. Keep posting videos and I will subscribe.

Reminds me of my 76 C3 L48 Corvette Stingray lol. It had been sitting and some guys yard and I seen it from 3 years old and my father always swore he was going to buy it and at 22 years old I ended up buying it and driving it home with no brakes because of a rusted line. Very cool man love the Firebirds especially the 4th gen LT1

My first (drivable) car was a metallic brown 1984 Firebird with the 4 cylinder, it was the cheapest model they made. Didn't even have a wing! I've always loved these cars, currently have a '90 GTA and hope to get a 2002 WS6 someday.

I’m from Melrose Ma!! Spent a lot of time in Somerville and Cambridge.. Unfortunately never saw these birds though!! I also like the 3rd gen. The 4th gens never looked right to me without the T/A body kit.

I currently have a 1995 Firebird Formula and it is one of my childhood cars also. Honestly, I don't regret investing in getting one and building it back to factory to keep it stock.

I had to replace my trans am battery tray with one from the junkyard. I don’t think they reproduce the left side tray, only the right side.
