PLEASE give us an update on the 71 Road Runner! PLEASE. I don't know if the buyer will be someone that would let us watch it's resurrection from the dead. But it's such a GREAT from NEW candidate to be put back as it once was when it rolled off the assembly line way back in 1971!! That would be so AWESOME to see!

Knowing it is an RS/SS ABSOLUTELY changes the value of the car...even without docs...If I am buying a car like this...I WILL DEFINITELY pay more money for it...There are still people out there who value owning a "real" RS/SS.

It had been questioned by many its validity for years, I may have had my doubts at times but after cleaning the literal crap out of it, We started to really get in there and see it wasn't a clone. I've climbed through barns and scaled walls for parts for this car. Thanks again, Amazing channel, I smashed that 👍🏻 and subscribe immediately last night.

22:26 So twice in his interview the Mopar "K.G. Engines" Engine builder guy says that the CI of the engines is larger than the designation of the actual numbers. As in the 383 is a 480CI the 426 is 472CI. Now I don't know if that's the way Dodge did things back in the day but I didn't think it was like that. I'm thinking he's bored out the cylinders and brought them up for better GO GO time! LOL. But I really don't have a clue if that's the case as I'm far from being a Mopar guy.

No, do not "LS Swap" the world. Make it old school Chevrolet small block as it was originally. 1971 Roadrunner with the VIN for the win: R for Satellite/Belvedere line, M for Medium price class, 23 for two door hardtop, N for 383 CID V8 with four barrel, high performance, 1 for 1971 model year, R for Windsor Ontario Canada assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Windsor plant opened in 1928 and still operates today. With the tag you can (barely) brag: N41 for dual exhaust, R11 for AM radio, 2 watts, V6W for White longitudinal stripes, END for end of sales codes, B5 for True Blue exterior paint, U for USA specification vehicle, 26 for 26" radiator, E65 for 383 CID V8 with four barrel, high performance, approximately 300 HP, D21 for four speed manual transmission, J45 for hood tie down pins, among other codes. You were too far away from the tag to read the rest.

Then add in the LS motor to the place where there was none before….I also agree to bring the car to modern driving standards as there are already TONS OF EXCELLENT ORIGINAL EXAMPLES already trying to get sold, and Not…….. Personally I would rather keep an incorrect 350 in that Camaro than see it turned into another belly button LS swapped car. Don't get me wrong the LS is a great engine but there are so many of them swapped into vintage cars that they are no longer anything special. It's getting to the point where it seems there are more LS swapped 1st generation Camaros than there are with smallblocks.

Base 71 Roadrunner was about mid 3’s new and over 14K were built. This things been sitting 49 yrs. After using it for 4yrs? If the engine isn’t seized a compression check is in order, but I’d be suspicious sitting that long. How’s the body/frame even when garaged can rust.
