SAVING A CARBON WHEELCHAIR IN THE USA. CRAZY RESCUE!

A 'slightly' different video today. In my 'day job' I am a carbon composite specialist. I own and run a company called CarbonBikeRepair. It is the largest of its kind. Somehow I juggle MyRestoroation where I can and visa-versa.
I watched a youtube video of 2 guys cycling across the USA. One of them in a wheel chair! The carbon headtube was failing due to the poor conditions so I decided to hop on a plane ASAP to see if I could save their trip!
Please if you can spare a few pennies to donate to the charity Get Kids Going! for which they are doing this ride.

Loved seeing the trip and repair from your PoV, Rob. I know you felt like it was something you just had to do, but it's still pretty remarkable. It's been an amazing journey seeing a couple of lads take on an amazing challenge that has inspired folks like yourself to dig deep to support and see them through. Absolutely amazing.

Very cool of you to travel to the US to help a couple fellow Brits in need. I didn't realize you were a carbon composite specialist. I only know you from the amazing motorcycle restorations. Riding a regular bike across the US would be tough, but pedaling with your arms seems insanely difficult.

Great rescue job. Moved to Dallas from Manchester 20 years ago and the highways in Dallas have only gotten worse since then. The horrible road surface you're talking about is called chipseal here and it's the worst part about riding in Texas.

@My Restoration open sure but like you said, leads to the craziest winds and so boring you'll fall asleep. Especially west Texas heading into New Mexico which is just as bad until you hit the mountains.
