Strange behaviour as all the places we have stayed it's been fine. Been looking for apartments in SR and we are amazed by the huge amount of rentals available. Our rent was $325 and the landlord's dropped out rent to $250 as we were there during Covid. Unsure if we have been lucky but we have had really nice owners of all the places we have stayed.

This is good info. I am looking at Siem Reap with my 11 year old cat I had since she was as small as your new kitten. I'm not giving her up for the world, so it's nice to know it is possible to find a rental that is willing to consider it.

Cat guy here 😺😺😻😻😺😺 It breaks my heart how animals are regarded in poorer countries with lesser charters of rights

1. Yes, Cambodians will just sit on a property (or goods) until they get the price they want. They usually don't have a mortgage, so they don't worry about having to make their own expenses. 2. There is still a lot of animism in Cambodia, and even Khmer who are Buddhist still have a lot of superstitions. Some Khmer are very afraid of cats. 3. If you come down to Phnom Penh, look me up - I've been living here for 15 years and would love to chat :)
