Hi, When did you originally plant your seeds? I’m jealous you still have so many nice plumes now. Mine have been in seed for a long time already; I think I planted out in April or May. I have a very long row. But many have rebloomed, just not as big. I have SO many bees working on them. I also have seeds all over my house from arrangements or dried bunches. (They get everywhere!) I only had the Pampas Plume mixture from Floret, not the Texas variety, and I had those yellows and also reds.

They got planted out in June but started inside before that. Most are going to seed which is why I decided to harvest!

@@SunshineFlora Thanks! Good to know, I think next year I’m going to plant less at one time, but also succession better! I’m a small, new grower and didn’t need so much. They seed so easily. And I’m 7b so I started earlier than you. Have a good weekend!

@@karenlopez5441 thanks Karen! Wish I could plant out a little earlier each year - I always am eager!

I was always curious about this - did they cross pollinate or did you get true plants the following year? I'd imagine if you wanted the true seed you'd have to have them pretty far apart, or in different fields? Let us know how it went!

Yes, you are right - I think you have to isolate them to get 100% what you had before. I’m planting the seeds this spring so I’ll post an update!

@@SunshineFlorado you have an update? I just found your video and am wondering if the seeds mature enough when you cut the flowers at that stage (still very bright and not drying out yet)? And how did the colors and blossom shapes compare to the originals? Thank you!
