Great combo with you and James, He runs his business solo and gets help in when he needs it, You should consider doing the same thing but as you are bigger keep the most hard working, Trusty employee that likes to graft and do the work between you and get shot of all your work shy slackers, Some of the money saved sacking off the slackers could go in to the employee you choose pay packet giving him a well paid job and motivation to keep it up, Will save you a fortune in the long run. 👍

Hi Joe, this jag xkr was my brothers car he leased it from jaguar Northampton for many years he died 2015 he bearly used it in 2014- 2015 and I remember the reg , he useto pick me up in it and we would go boxing together in it at his house in long Buckby . Cant believe u now own it if I had the money I would come get it . Ur doing an amazing job keep it up mate .

I had a 1.0 ecoboost fiesta fail on a customer 3 months after purchase, the wet cambelt broke up and fu*ked the engine. We had to buy the car back for a full refund of £4495 and we only got £1000 back for it. It's not worth attempting to fix them, can't buy the parts and a refurb engine costs £2000 plus fitting. Just not worth it

Did the customer not give you the choice of fixing it? Obviously better to fix before the engine blows, bit like Russian roulette with these engines, lack of servicing and wrong oil used is a killer, correct oil and regular changes is a must, i change oil every 8K on these.

@@stevenc5227 It would've cost £2000-£3000 to get a recon engine and have it fitted. It made more sense to sell it as it is and move on. If it had needed more parts or the recon engine was no good I would've had to pay for fitting twice etc, all more unforeseen costs that I didn't want to deal with. I now get to see it everyday as our local mechanic bought it from us and fixed it for himself. The recon engine cost him just under £2000 not to mention his time fitting it and the other parts he bought along the way. He paid a £1000 for it and is happy. I get a lovely reminder that ecoboost engines are trash every time I see him :)

@@jamiN22-2 yeah the 1.0 ecoboost is the worst engine, although they drive great, the 1.2 fiesta has a great engine, I think ford changed to cam chain after 2021 on the 1.0 ecoboost so problem solved i think.

Usually when James is making chops garage videos he is on his own. Having you beside him for the guts of an hour reminds me of what an absolute f**king unit he is. You're not a small man, but there is no Tom Cruiseing your way out of it 😂. If there was a remake of Rocky 4 James could play the angry massive steroid filled Russian boxer. Great entertaining video, an hour or so well spent.

Constructive criticism! The cars and sales prices should be the stars of the show but your camera man concentrates on watching you talking when a voice over with pictures of the cars with an occasional look in your direction would be better, no disrespect to you two handsome gentlemen 😊

Are there any modern cars that aren't shit? Ford eco boost, JLR ingenium, JLR timing chains, in fact JLR full stop, VW DMFs. Vauxhall timing chains, all diesels- all shit due to egr, dmf, dpf, seriously are there any non-shit cars anymore?

Glad to hear chop saying he is going if diesel's 😉. Said it before will say it again diesels are great for tractors and vans but never should be in any car .
