@Alex. This might sound like a silly question, but how would one go about figuring out how to make an exhaust note sound like a different car? I am trying to figure out if it will be possible at all to attempt to make my N54 E92 sound more like a RB26. I'm not a fan of any of the current aftermarket E92 exhaust options so I'm still on stock. Alex, as a fellow engineer, where can I find some literature/resources to start reading up and getting up to speed with what this design will entail?

Dude i bought the cheapest M4 in Czech Republic, EU and I want to this so much. Rod bearings and crankhub done already by me, time to do the suspension..

At 5:51 under the control arm it looks split where the weld is at. Not 100% if that's how it came or not.

That's just how it left the factory, I don't see any cracking on the weld after 75k miles, so safe to say it's holding up as intended.

I was in the market for a used F8x early this year. It was close to impossible to find one that was unmodified. This one is representative of the nonsense that constituted the market at the time.
